I’ll be the very first in my family members to gain an university degree, and that’s something I hold very near to my heart.
My family members and I transferred to the United States in 2014 We picked Memphis as our second home to begin fresh and build a better future.
When I finished secondary school in 2020, I made a decision to join the Army Get so I could work permanent to aid sustain my family economically. Along the road, my moms and dads always advised me of the importance of an university level. Honestly, I fought with the decision in between selecting job over institution.
That changed when I uncovered the University of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I could gain my degree 100 % online from a recognized, country wide identified Carnegie R 1 college. The flexibility of the program made it feasible to stabilize job, life, and education and learning. Once I enrolled, I understood I made the best option.
As an online pupil, I stayed entailed with university life via occupation fairs and signing up with student organizations like the Society of Human Resource Management. I wished to obtain one of the most out of my college experience and get in touch with people who shared my passion for HR.
Last November, I released to Kuwait, with a month left of fall semester. Many thanks to the assistance and structure of UofM Worldwide, I had the ability to finish solid, even making the Dean’s Listing. I’m taking four courses while serving on active service, and I’m proud to say I’ll be finishing in May.
Having the ability to offer my country, support my household, and gain my degree means the world to me. I feel prepared to take on whatever follows.
